Half-Time Report: Millwall, Blackpool level at the break in Championship clash

Liam Trotter scores from the spot to get his side level in their Championship clash with Blackpool cancelling out Thomas Ince's opener.

Liam Trotter's late first-half penalty was enough to draw Millwall level in their Championship clash with Blackpool at The Den.

Blackpool took the lead in the 16th minute when Bob Harris lifted a cross into the area which was only half cleared by Paul Robinson and the ball fell to Thomas Ince, who controlled it and then fired into the net past David Forde.

The home side almost got back into the game when a cross found Martyn Woolford at the back of the penalty area but his header crashed off the post and rebounded into the hands of Matthew Gilks.

Millwall got their leveller just before the break when they were awarded a penalty when Isaiah Osbourne handled in the area and Trotter duly fired the spot kick past Gilks.
