Player Ratings: Levante 2-2 Atletico Madrid

Sports Mole takes a closer look at how each player performed during Levante's 2-2 draw with Atletico Madrid in La Liga.

Fernando Torres struck in the 80th minute to secure Atletico Madrid a point in a 2-2 draw with Levante in La Liga on Sunday.

David Barral opened the scoring for the home side in the 32nd minute, but Atletico were level less than three minutes later when Guilherme Siqueira volleyed a Tiago cross into the bottom corner.

Kalu Uche again sent Levante into the lead just past the hour, but Torres's header 10 minutes from time ensured that Atletico remained unbeaten for a 13th straight league game.

As it stands, this round of La Liga fixtures are the only confirmed matches in Spain's top flight before the end of the season. All Spanish football competitions will be suspended on May 16 amid a strike that relates to TV rights. The Spanish Football Federation are in a disagreement with the government, but there is hope that the situation will be rectified over the next week.

Here, Sports Mole takes a closer look at how each player performed in Valencia.

LEVANTE

Goal

Diego Marino: Could not do anything with either of the Atletico goals and made a host of smart saves throughout the match. Can be pleased with his overall performance in Valencia. (7/10)

Defence

Ivan Lopez: Man-of-the-match performance from the 21-year-old wing-back, who set up both of Levante's goals and was brilliant down the other end. The best player on the field. (8/10)

Juanfran: Formed part of Levante's back three and performed a solid job against Mario Mandzukic. Struggled to deal with the pace of Antoine Griezmann, but was not really exploited. (7/10)

Ivan Ramis: Very strong in the air and made a number of crucial blocks during Atletico's spells in control. Never afraid to put his body on the line for the home side. (7/10)

Loukas Vyntra: Part of a defence that conceded twice, but the Greek was another that impressed. Dealt with most things into the Levante box and was calm in possession of the ball. (7/10)

Tono: Like Lopez on the opposite side, Tono was always prepared to break into the final third. The Spaniard was also solid at the back and managed to nullify the threat of the Spanish champions. (7/10)

Midfield

Mohamed Sissoko: Had a super game in the middle of the park for Levante. Provided plenty of energy and put out a number of fires when Atletico attempted to play through the midfield. (8/10)

Jose Luis Morales: Another that can he extremely content with his performance in Valencia. Was a bundle of energy in the final third and helped provide some of Levante's best moments. (8/10)

Victor Camarasa: Was not as involved as Sissoko and Morales, but still provided a good base to build from and was tidy in possession. Departed in the 85th minute for Jose Mari. (7/10)

Attack

Kalu Uche: Had a largely frustrating first period, but came to the forefront in the second when he converted from close range. Linked well with Barral in the final third of the field. (7/10)

David Barral: Always prepared to run beyond the Atletico defence and opened the scoring from close range. Used his pace and movement to cause Atletico a whole host of problems. (7/10)

Substitutes

Jose Mari: Entered in the 85th minute and was tidy in possession of the ball. (6/10)

Rafael Martins: Has struggled to make his mark this season and did not have much time to make an impression in this one after only being given the final five minutes. (6/10)

Andreas Ivanschitz: Hardly touched the ball during his one minute in play. (6/10)

ATLETICO

Goal

Jan Oblak: Will have been a little disappointed with Levante's second goal, but the goalkeeper lacked protection from his defence. Difficult to be too critical of the Slovenian's performance. (6/10)

Defence

Juanfran: Usually such a threat in forward areas and that was the case in the early exchanges, but the Spaniard faded in the second period and was also a little poor defensively. (6/10)

Miranda: Just never looks the same player without Diego Godin. Should have been the organiser at the back, but the Brazilian never took the game by the scruff of its neck. (6/10)

Jose Gimenez: Without question one of the best young defenders in world football, but the centre-back was a little untidy here. Strong in the challenge, but caught out positionally on a couple of occasions. (6/10)

Guilherme Siqueira: Atletico's best player on the afternoon. Set up a couple of excellent chances in the first period, before scoring a beautiful volley in the 35th minute. (7/10)

Midfield

Koke: Had plenty of opportunities to threaten from free kicks, but the Spaniard's delivery was a little off-colour. That said, did deliver a super corner for Torres to level late on. (6/10)

Gabi: Was such a big part of Atletico's success last season, but the Spaniard has not been the same player this term. Tidy in possession, but not too much inspiration from the skipper. (6/10)

Tiago: Set up Siqueira for Atletico's first with a super cross, but faded in the second period. Not much wrong, but was replaced by Saul Niguez as the visitors chased a second goal. (6/10)

Attack

Antoine Griezmann: Has been in wonderful form in recent weeks, but the Frenchman was quiet in Valencia. Some nice touches, but never really got into the game. (6/10)

Mario Mandzukic: Had a couple of excellent chances to break his scoring drought, but the Croatian did not have his finishing boots on and was replaced just past the hour by Torres. (6/10)

Arda Turan: As always, the Turkish international was classy in possession of the ball, but there was not too much in the way of inspiration. Needed to offer a little bit more. (6/10)

Substitutes

Fernando Torres: Entered in the 61st minute and was immediately a threat for the visitors. Forced the Levante defence to turn the other way and secured a point with a powerful header late on. (7/10)

Saul Niguez: Replaced Tiago 20 minutes from time and provided a burst of energy in the middle of the park. Atletico's changes certainly helped them push forward as the match progressed. (6/10)

Raul Garcia: Will have been disappointed not to start and the Spaniard was his usual physical self during the final 15 minutes. Provided a good target in the final third. (6/10)
