Miranda "very happy" at Atletico Madrid

Atletico Madrid defender Miranda says that he is "very happy" at the club amid rumours linking him with a move to Manchester United.

Miranda has said that he is fully committed to Atletico Madrid despite rumours suggesting that he could be on his way out of the club.

Recent reports have linked the Brazilian defender with a £20m move to Manchester United, but the 30-year-old has said that he is "very happy" at the Spanish champions.

When asked about a potential move to Old Trafford, he told Spanish newspaper AS: "I know nothing about it. I just know that I want to fulfill my contract with Atletico.

"It's my club, I have two years remaining and am very happy at Atletico."

Miranda recently made his 100th appearance for Atletico in their shock 2-1 loss to Real Sociedad.
