The attacker was linked with Premier League side Liverpool last week, but the Merseysiders will now face competition from Sociedad, according to AS.
The report adds that the Basque outfit have proposed to take Jese on a six-month loan deal.
Las Palmas-born Rodriguez joined Los Blancos as a trainee from AD Huracan in 2007.
