Harlequins thrashed by Cardiff Blues

Cardiff Blues score five tries in a comfortable 35-5 win over Harlequins in the LV=Cup.

Cardiff Blues have thrashed Harlequins 35-5 at Cardiff Arms Park in the LV= Cup this evening.

After a quiet opening half-hour, Fili Paulo and Gavin Evans both scored tries to leave the home side in control, but Ollie Lindsay-Hague was able to give Quins some hope before the break.

Dan Fish made sure that Cardiff restored their advantage at the start of the second half, forcing his way through for their third try of the match.

Tom Williams was able to further extend the lead, before Marc Breeze rounded off the performance by sprinting over in the final minute.

The result leaves Cardiff at the bottom of the pool.
