Bath still unbeaten in LV= Cup

Bath are still unbeaten in this season's LV= Cup following a 24-13 win over Cardiff Blues.

Bath Rugby have maintained their unbeaten start to the LV= Cup campaign by defeating Cardiff Blues 24-13 this afternoon.

First-half tries from Alafoti Fa'osiliva and Micky Young helped the home side edge ahead in the first period, although a couple of Simon Humberstone penalties kept Cardiff in touch at the break.

Bath continued to look the stronger of the two teams early in the second half, resulting in Gavin Henson sprinting over for their third try of the day.

Guy Mercer ended any hopes of a Cardiff comeback, adding the fourth Bath try with just six minutes left to play.

However, Dan Fish managed to find the try line late on to add a consolation for the visitors, with the hosts reduced to 14 men because of an Ollie Devoto yellow card.
