Efficient Novak Djokovic wins Toronto title

Novak Djokovic takes just over an hour to beat France's Richard Gasquet in the final of the Rogers Cup.

World number two Novak Djokovic has successfully defended his Rogers Cup title with a comfortable straight-sets victory over Richard Gasquet.

Following a week of frustrating rain delays in Toronto, Sunday night's final was played under clear skies.

Djokovic converted all three of his break points and saved all four of Gasquet's, as the top seed took just under 62 minutes to wrap up the win.

Despite his triumph, Djokovic remains behind Roger Federer in the ATP World Rankings.
