Real Madrid attacker Takefusa Kubo is wanted by a number of European clubs on loan this summer, according to a report.

Real Madrid attacker Takefusa Kubo is reportedly a loan target for a number of European clubs this summer.

The 20-year-old joined Los Blancos in 2019 but is yet to make a first-team appearance for the club, spending time out on loan with Mallorca, Villarreal and Getafe.

Kubo is due back at the Bernabeu following his involvement for Japan Under-23s at the Tokyo Olympics, where he scored three times in five appearances, helping his team to reach the semi-finals.

However, according to Marca, the fact that Real Madrid can only register three non-EU players means that he is expected to leave on loan once again for the 2021-22 campaign.

The report claims that Real Sociedad are currently leading the race for the youngster, but there is also interest from Mallorca and a number of Bundesliga clubs.

Kubo, who has made 66 La Liga appearances during his spells with Mallorca, Villarreal and Getafe, has three years left to run on his contract at the Bernabeu and will allegedly be a part of his current side's first-team squad for the 2022-23 campaign.
