Report: Brighton & Hove Albion not giving up on Thomas Delaney

A report claims that Werder Bremen are bracing themselves for a bid of up to £15m from Brighton & Hove Albion for midfielder Thomas Delaney.

Brighton & Hove Albion are reportedly determined to sign Thomas Delaney from Werder Bremen and will make a second bid for the midfielder.

The Seagulls have already seen a rumoured £11m offer knocked back for the Denmark international after being warned by Bremen that he is not for sale.

According to The Sun, however, Brighton have not been put off and are ready to make a fresh approach, which could see them go as high as £15m.

Delaney has also been linked with Watford and Everton, but he is said to favour a switch to Brighton as he is a fan of the ongoing project on the south coast.

Bremen only signed the 25-year-old from Copenhagen last summer and let him remain at the Danish club until January, in which time he has netted four goals in 13 Bundesliga appearances.
