The BBC will reportedly cut the Football League Show next season due to budget concerns.

The Football League Show will reportedly be cut by the BBC at the end of the season.

The programme was not aired on Boxing Day due to a "budget decision", according to presenter Manish Bhasin.

The BBC confirmed that the show would not return to screens until mid-January.

The move has led some to fear for the future of Match of the Day, which is up for tender next year.
