Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how England could line up for Tuesday's World Cup 2022 Qualifying clash with Hungary.

England are set to revert to their strongest XI for Tuesday's World Cup 2022 Qualifying clash with Hungary at Wembley.

Gareth Southgate has no fresh injury concerns to deal with from Saturday's 5-0 thrashing of Andorra, but Luke Shaw was not present after only just recovering from a shoulder injury.

However, Ben Chilwell took his chance at left-back with the opening goal at the weekend, and the Chelsea man should be deemed fit enough to go again on home soil this week.

John Stones is the other man set to hold his place in the rearguard, with Jordan Pickford, Kyle Walker and Tyrone Mings all set to return to the starting lineup.

James Ward-Prowse's goal and Phil Foden's eye-catching performance were highlights of Saturday's win, but Southgate should reintroduce Declan Rice and Jordan Henderson to the first XI here.

Mason Mount is also likely to act as the creative hub as Jesse Lingard drops out, while Bukayo Saka and Jadon Sancho are set to make way for Raheem Sterling and Jack Grealish.

Roma's Tammy Abraham justified his selection against Andorra with his side's third goal on the night, but Harry Kane - in spite of his Premier League struggles - will surely lead the line against Hungary.

England possible starting lineup: Pickford; Walker, Stones, Mings, Chilwell; Rice, Henderson; Sterling, Mount, Grealish; Kane
