The first bit of transfer news that I will bring you this morning is regarding Crewe Alexandra striker Max Clayton. The 19-year-old will spend the next seven days on trial at Wolverhampton Wanderers ahead of a potential move to Molineux.
Hamburger SV midfielder Rafael van der Vaart enjoyed a superb spell during his time in England with Tottenham Hotspur and the Netherlands international could potentially move back to the Premier League with Queens Park Rangers. The 31-year-old has been speaking about his relationship with Harry Redknapp as reports continue to link him with a move to Loftus Road.
Striker Leon Best has endured a disappointing two years at Blackburn Rovers, but it appears as though he could be bringing his time at Ewood Park to an end. The 27-year-old is reportedly in talks with Derby County regarding a loan move to last season's Championship playoff runners-up.
The future of Arsenal winger Joel Campbell has been a constant feature on the back pages since his contribution to Costa Rica's run to the World Cup quarter-finals. However, it appears as though the 22-year-old is keen to bring an end to much of the speculation by revealing that he wants to remain in the Premier League for the upcoming campaign. AC Milan and Galatasaray had been linked with his signature.
Some news for Tottenham Hotspur fans now, and it's likely to be seen in a positive light. Winger Iago Falque, who has only made a handful of appearances for Spurs in three years, has signed for Genoa for £4m. Daniel Levy's at it again...that's a great deal for the North London outfit.
It's been a summer of woe for Blackpool so far, but the signs are there that it could be improving. If a work permit can be obtained, the Seasiders will sign midfielder Jose Miguel Cubero, who played four games for Costa Rica at the World Cup finals.
While they fight to keep hold of defender Ron Vlaar, reports have suggested that Aston Villa could make a bid for Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Danny Batth. However, the Championship side have been quick to state that the centre-back is not for sale.
Yesterday evening, Tottenham Hotspur announced that they had agreed a five-year deal for defender Eric Dier. However, it doesn't appear that the England Under-21 international's former club Sporting Lisbon are very happy. They have claimed that their hands were tied as they attempted to keep the centre-back in Portugal.
