Gareth Southgate makes eight changes for England Under-21s friendly against Germany Under-21s.

Gareth Southgate has made eight changes to his England Under-21s side for this evening's friendly against Germany Under-21s at the Riverside Stadium.

Burnley's Danny Ings, who did not start in their 1-0 win over Czech Republic on Friday, will lead the line in attack with Nathan Redmond in support.

Carl Jenkinson and John Stones also return to the starting XI, while Watford's Jonathan Bond is in goal ahead of Fulham's Marcus Bettinelli.

For Germany, Liverpool midfielder Emre Can starts, while Barcelona's Marc-Andre ter Stegen is in goal and Arsenal's Serge Gnabry is on the bench.
