Team News: Lionel Messi, Neymar return for Barcelona

Having recovered from illness and injury respectively, Lionel Messi and Neymar return to the Barcelona side for today's Club World Cup final.

Lionel Messi and Neymar have both been included in the Barcelona starting lineup for today's Club World Cup final against River Plate in Japan.

The Argentine and Brazilian attacking duo missed the 3-0 semi-final win over Guangzhou Evergrande with illness and injury respectively, but their return to fitness has come at the expense of youngsters Sergi Roberto and Munir El Haddadi.

Meanwhile, in goal Chile international Claudio Bravo has been preferred to Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

As for River, their frontline will once again be spearheaded by Rodrigo Mora and Lucas Alario.

River: Barovero; Mercado, Maidana, Balanta, Vangioni; Kranevitter, Ponzio, Sanchez, Viudez; Mora, Alario

Barcelona: Bravo; Alves, Pique, Mascherano, Alba; Busquets, Rakitic, Iniesta; Messi, Suarez, Neymar
