Good morning and welcome to Sports Mole's live text coverage of the eighth day of the 126th Wimbledon Championships.
We're now well into the second week and have a great lineup on what is traditionally ladies' quarter-final day.
Because of the persistent rain yesterday we also have five men's fourth-round clashes, including Andy Murray's ongoing game with Marin Cilic.

22.03We also witnessed the completion of the men's last-16 matches that fell victim to the weather yesterday. Britain's hopes remain intact after Andy Murray cruised past Marin Cilic, Philipp Kohlschreiber ended Brian Baker's remarkable Wimbledon run, Florian Mayer surprised Richard Gasquet and David Ferrer thrashed Juan Martin del Potro.
21.55The rain came down at Wimbledon again today, but it didn't stop all four women's quarter-finals from being completed. Serena Williams knocked out defending champion Petra Kvitova, Angelique Kerber overcame Sabine Lisicki, Victoria Azarenka beat Tamira Paszek in straight sets and Agnieszka Radwanska battled past Maria Kirilenko.
21.48GAME, SET AND MATCH: Radwanska 7-5 4-6 7-5 Radwanska shakes off losing the first point to hold and move into the last four, where she'll face Angelqiue Kerber after the eighth seed beat her German compatriot Sabine Lisicki earlier today.
21.45Break! If any point deserves to contribute to a break of serve it was that one described below. A couple of unforced errors from Kirilenko help Radwanska break to love and the third seed will now serve for the match...
21.44Superb from Radwanska! She appears to be out of the point as Kirilenko lines up a smash but she anticipates where the Russian intends to hit the ball and, not content with just returning it, fires back a cross-court passing shot of the highest quality. The best point of the day for me.

21.20Wo, wo, wo, don't go anywhere just yet! Wimbledon officials have just announced that the quarter-final match between Agnieszka Radwanska and Maria Kirilenko will conclude under the roof on Centre Court tonight after rain had earlier seen play suspended on Court One.
21.18GAME, SET AND MATCH: Azarenka 7-5 7-6[4] Paszek The world number two won't be denied a second time as Paszek hits long. Azarenka books her spot in the last four, where she will play tournament favourite Serena Williams.

21.17For the third time, Azarenka has the opportunity to serve for the match as Paszek sends a backhand long. First of three match points coming up...
21.16The Austrian finds the net in successive points and the number two seed now has a two-point lead at 5-3.
21.15Paszek strikes her return into the net as Azarenka moves ahead in the tiebreak for the first time.

21.00Break! What inspired timing. For the first time, Paszek records what was a necessary break which was secured by an Azarenka double fault. The Belarusian will be livid.

20.54Break! After she performed so well on serve throughout the match, Paszek will be so frustrated with what has just transpired. A nightmare game gifts Azarenka a break to love and the Pole will now serve for the match and a place in the Wimbledon semi-finals.

20.47Despite being a clear underdog, Paszek is playing with confidence and has looked assured on serve in this second set. Another excellent hold puts her 4-3 ahead. If she can put some pressure on the Azarenka serve, she may still have a chance of taking this one all the way.
20.45Unlike the Kerber versus Lisicki contest from earlier, where there were breaks aplenty, this second set continues to go with serve. Azarenka wraps up this hold with a superb passing shot, followed by an ace.
20.41We remain on serve here as Paszek replies with a comfortable hold of her own.
20.38Azarenka records another hold to level at two games apiece. The Belarusian is yet to face a break point in this contest.
20.34However, the Eastbourne champion stays composed to fire down an ace and a backhand winner to hold and move 2-1 ahead in the second.
20.32Paszek is putting up a stubborn resistance here and after saving break point, she is denied a hold only by an unfortunate bounce off the net.

20.23Great stuff from Azarenka as she shows she really is a complete player. From 15-30, she produces winners from both the back-court and the net to produce a stubborn hold.
20.18However, the unseeded Austrian responds well to going a set down by holding to 15 in the first game of the second.
20.14SET! Azarenka 6-3 Paszek Azarenka, who has served superbly throughout the opening set, secures the advantage in this quarter-final by holding to love. Long way back now for Paszek.
20.12Until now. And in fairness, she is partly gifted the break as Paszek hits a backhand down the line wide. The Austrian will be frustrated that an unforced error cost her after she had battled so hard to hold.
20.10This game is proving to be a near replica of the fourth game, which had six deuces. We are on three at the moment with Azarenka unable to find what could be a crucial break as of yet.

19.54After the previous game had six deuces, Azarenka makes swift work of her turn on serve by holding to love.
19.51We do still have some tennis to bring you courtesy of that marvelous Centre Court roof. Victoria Azarenka and Tamira Paszek are currently occuping SW19's biggest stage in their quarter final clash and are on serve having each held twice in the opening stages.
19.49So, Radwanska and Kirilenko will conclude their tussle tomorrow with the match brilliantly poised at 4-4 in the deciding third set.
19.46Groans on Court One as the umpire decides to suspend play for the evening. Fine drizzle had started to come down and the powers that be deemed the surface too slippy for play to continue.
19.44Again, Radwanska holds off the advances of Kirilenko to recover from 30-30 to keep this deciding set on serve.
19.41If Radwanska is admirable in defence, Kirilenko is equally impressive in attack. She holds to love in the seventh game, hitting two winners and serving two aces in the process.

19.28Azarenka is the highest seed left in the women's draw, but faces stiff competition in the shape of in-form Paszek, who won at Eastbourne last week and eliminated former world number one Caroline Wozniacki in the earlier rounds.
19.27Second seed Azarenka's match with Paszek on Centre Court is due to begin shortly, but we'll be focusing mostly on the deciding set between Radwanska and Kirilenko on Court One.

19.10GAME, SET AND MATCH! Lisicki 3-6 7[9-6[7] 7-5 Kerber At the fifth attempt, Kerber secures her place in the Wimbledon semi-finals, where she will play either Agnieszka Radwanska or Maria Kirilenko.
19.08She has three more match points here, but cannot take the first of them as Lisicki forces her wide and then converts an easy volley at the net.
19.06Break! This whole match, but in particular this set, has been full of twists. After looking defeated all of five minutes ago, Kerber breaks for what could be the final time against her fellow German. She is about to serve for the match having already wasted three chances to advance into the last four...
19.04Kerber goes on to hold and bring the match level at 5-5 in the third set.
19.03Talk about fine margins. It is Kerber this time who reaps the benefits of the hawk-eye system as she successfully appeals a clean winner which just brushed the white paint.
19.02Good news! The rain has subsided (at least temporarily), and play between Radwanska and Kirilenko will resume on Court One in around five minutes.
19.00Break! Incredible. This one will continue after Kerber produces a pair of backhand winners to break back and put this set back on serve.
18.58Sabine Lisicki is one game away from consecutive Wimbledon semi-finals. She's now serving for the match at 5-3 in the third...
18.56Lisicki moves 40-0 ahead on Kerber's serve and despite the latter pulling a point back, she soon gifts Lisicki the game with a double fault. Kerber shares a look with her coach which suggests she feels it just isn't her day.
18.54Work hard she does. Lisicki forces Kerber into an error before converting a winner to move 4-3 ahead. Lisicki's winner count is nearly at 50 now.
18.52Kerber hits consecutive return winners to take the game to deuce. Just as it looked as if Lisicki was gaining momentum, Kerber ensures the 15th seed is forced to work hard for her hold.
18.49Break! Yet again Lisicki breaks straight back partly due to being on the right side of a couple of close hawk-eye calls.
18.45Break! That turns out to be good work wasted as Lisicki fires a forehand wide to gift Kerber a second break in this set. Can the eighth seed capitalise and go on to secure a semi-final berth from here?

18.38We have a cracking match on our hands on Centre, but I do have some bad news to bring you. The rain that hampered yesterday's action has returned and forced play to be suspended between Radwanska and Kirilenko on Court One. The suspension comes with the two players level at a set apiece and yet to begin the third.
18.36We briefly have the possibility of three consecutive breaks, but Lisicki holds her serve by reeling off four consecutive points to come from 15-40 down.

18.31Despite her break, Kerber is showing signs of frustration as she slams her racket into the floor following an error that puts Lisicki 30-15 up and allows her the chance to break back immediately.

16.31Next up on Centre is an all-German women's quarter-final between Lisicki and Kerber. Both women have been impressive so far in the Championships but I reckon the crowd will favour Lisicki because of her exploits in knocking out number one seed Sharapova.
