Good morning everyone! We're gearing up for what could be another busy day of transfer activity. No prizes for guessing who dominated the headlines yesterday... Manchester United. Louis van Gaal added both Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin to his squad, literally within minutes of one another! Another good sign for United fans is that David de Gea [flew out] with his teammates to the United States for their pre-season tour, which indicates that he might not be signing for Real Madrid after all. Everything can change in an instant in transfer world though, so we'll keep an eye on that one.
Raheem Sterling was also a dominant presence in the transfer gossip pages (when hasn't he been this summer?!). Reports yesterday claimed that the 20-year-old was [having a medical] with Manchester City ahead of a £49m move from Liverpool. We are yet to hear anymore on this transfer, but I imagine that it's only a matter of time before we see Sterling in sky blue.
It was not that long ago when Xherdan Shaqiri seemed to be on the move to Stoke City. After the Potters agreed a £12m fee with Inter Milan, everything appeared to be moving in the right direction, but it is believed that the Premier League club failed to agree terms with the player. Today, Stoke manager Mark Hughes spoke about the situation and admitted that a transfer is
unlikely to happen.

Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has been linked with a move away from the La Liga giants for some time, and stories continue to surface regarding the Frenchman's future. According to a reports in Spain, Arsenal will
offer him an escape from Santiago Bernabeu if he does not feature under new Real coach Rafael Benitez.
DONE DEAL! In the Championship, Leeds United have made their fifth signing of the summer with the capture of Tom Adeyemi. The midfielder has moved to Elland Road on a
season-long loan deal from Cardiff City.
More news from the Championship now and it concerns one of the stand-out performers in the division last season. Nottingham Forest's Michail Antonio has been linked with a move to West Bromwich Albion this summer, with the Baggies reportedly keen to do a deal. However, Forest boss Dougie Freedman has assured Reds supporters that he has
no plans to sell the winger, who netted 14 times last term.
Some good news for Everton fans. Manager Roberto Martinez has responded to reports suggesting that Aiden McGeady could be on his way out of Goodison Park by stating that he intends to
keep hold of the winger.
Queens Park Rangers duo Charlie Austin and Matt Phillips have been linked with moves away from Loftus Road since the club's relegation from the Premier League. However, director of football Les Ferdinand has warned that the Hoops will
not drop their asking prices for the pair.
Stoke City boss Mark Hughes has admitted that he does
not expect to sign Victor Moses this summer. The winger spent last season on loan at the club from Chelsea, scoring four goals in 23 appearances for the Potters.
Raheem Sterling is reportedly
undergoing a medical at Manchester City ahead of his potential move from Liverpool. The England international is expected to join the former Premier League champions for £49m following talks between the two clubs.
Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett has revealed that both Bjorn Sigurdarson and Georg Margreitter are
free to leave Molineux before the end of the transfer window.
Schalke 04 have confirmed that they are
interested in signing Inter Milan forward Xherdan Shaqiri. The Switzerland international has recently been linked with a move away from the San Siro, despite joining Inter just six months ago from Bayern Munich.
West Ham United have reportedly
joined the race to sign highly sought-after Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin. The Hammers could be ready to offer either Matt Jarvis or Kevin Nolan plus cash to secure the 26-year-old's services.

broken his leg, which is likely to have ended any chances of a move this summer.
