Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe hints that Ryan Fraser - linked with Arsenal - could leave the Vitality Stadium at the end of the season.

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has hinted that Ryan Fraser could leave the Vitality Stadium this summer.

Fraser has been in fine form for the Cherries this term, contributing seven goals and 11 assists in 36 appearances in all competitions, including 10 assists in the Premier League.

Arsenal have recently been credited with an interest in the 25-year-old, who will see his current deal with Bournemouth expire at the end of the 2019-2020 campaign.

Howe has revealed that talks over a new deal have begun but refused to offer any guarantees.

"We have spoken to Ryan and his representatives about his contract. It is one where we will see what happens," Howe told reporters at his press conference ahead of Saturday's clash with Brighton & Hove Albion.

"There is no doubting Ryan's quality and how highly we think of him. He is an outstanding talent but it is a two-way prospect to sign a contract, so let's wait and see.

"Ryan has contributed to the team this season but it's not the time to talk about speculation. Who knows in the summer? It is that time of year when things change and us ourselves will be looking to sign players."

Bournemouth signed Fraser - a seven-time Scotland international - from Aberdeen in 2013.
