Everton manager David Moyes claims that he and Harry Redknapp have an agreement that means that Louis Saha may not play when their two sides meet on Saturday.

Everton manager David Moyes has claimed that he has a gentleman's agreement with Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp over Louis Saha.

The agreement means that Saha - who moved from Goodison Park to White Hart Lane in January - is likely to be left out of the Spurs side to face the Toffees on Saturday.

However, Moyes did acknowledge that Redknapp was within his rights to play the French striker if he wants.

"I think I have an agreement with Harry that he doesn't play," said Moyes.

"If he plays it is not a problem. Harry told me if he is short of players he will play but if he is not he might not use him."

Moyes is the third-longest serving manager in English football, and will celebrate his ten-year anniversary at Goodison Park on Wednesday.
