Sotiris Ninis and Vasilis Torosidis start for Greece following injury doubts, while Poland's Damien Perquis claims a spot in the starting XI for Group A's opening Euro 2012 fixture.

Greece frontman Sotiris Ninis has been included in the national side's opening Euro 2012 fixture against co-hosts Poland.

Ninis was originally a doubt for manager Fernando Santos after the forward was forced to sit out of Greece's final warm-up match with a shoulder injury.

Greece full-back Vasilis Torosidis would have been a notable absence following the knee problem the 26-year-old encountered during the national side's friendly against Slovenia last week, but the defender has been included in the starting lineup.

Meanwhile, Poland defender Damien Perquis was an initial doubt for the contest after the Sochaux centre-back broke his elbow earlier this year in March and has struggled to regain full fitness since the injury.

Poland: Szczesny; Piszczek, Wasilewski, Perquis, Boenisch; Blaszczykowski, Polanski, Murawski, Rybus; Obraniak; Lewandowski

Greece: Chalkias; Torosidis, Papadopoulos, Papastathopoulos, Holebas; Maniatis, Katsouranis, Karagounis; Ninis, Gekas, Samaras
