Bayern Munich have beaten Manchester United and Liverpool to the signing of Basle winger Xherdan Shaqiri, according to reports in Germany.
The 20-year-old Swiss international is regarded as one of the best young talents in Europe, with a host of European sides interested in his signature.
According to German newspaper Bild, however, Bayern have won the race to sign the midfielder in a reported £10m deal.
Shaqiri has made 111 appearances for Basel, scoring 18 goals in the process.
