Kevin De Bruyne leads the line as Manchester City travel to struggling Hull City.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has picked Kevin De Bruyne to lead the line for their trip to struggling Hull City this afternoon.

The Belgian is expected to play in a centre-forward role, with support from David Silva, Raheem Sterling and the returning Nolito as Leroy Sane misses out on the matchday squad.

Fernandinho returns from a three-game ban and replaces Fernando alongside Yaya Toure at defensive midfield, while there are two changes in the back four as John Stones and Bacary Sagna come in for Pablo Zabaleta and Aleksandar Kolarov, who drop to the bench.

For the Tigers, Mike Phelan keeps faith with the XI that lost 1-0 at West Ham United before Christmas, with Dieumerci Mbokani continuing to lead the line.

Elsewhere, Ryan Mason is named on the bench after missing the trip to London with a knock.

Hull City: Marshall; Elmohamady, Davies, Dawson, Maguire, Robertson; Huddlestone, Livermore, Snodgrass, Clucas; Mbokani
Subs: Jakupovic, Meyler, Maloney, Weir, Diomande, Henriksen, Mason

Manchester City: Bravo; Stones, Otamendi, Sagna, Clichy; Fernandinho, Toure; Silva, Sterling, Nolito; De Bruyne
Subs: Caballero, Zabaleta, Fernando, Garcia, Kolarov, Navas, Iheanacho
