Play was halted for five minutes during Everton's 1-0 win over Manchester City after a spectator invaded the pitch and handcuffed himself to a goalpost.
The man emerged from the crowd five minutes before the break and attached himself to the goal, in a suspected protest against Ryanair.
The fan was seen wearing a t-shirt which stated: "Europe's greatest train robbers. Ryanair. Lowest wages guaranteed. Stop. Recruitment scamming our children."
Darron Gibson's strike after 60 minutes gave Everton all three points in the tie on Tuesday at Goodison Park.
