David Pizarro has arrived at Manchester City's training ground ahead of his proposed loan move from AS Roma.
The 32-year-old has worked with City boss Roberto Mancini before when the pair were at Inter Milan.
He will now undergo a medical examination prior to signing on at the Etihad Stadium for six months.
Pizarro joined Roma in 2006.
