Millwall sign free agent Paul Connolly

Millwall sign Paul Connolly on a short-term deal.

Championship side Millwall have snapped up former Leeds United defender Paul Connolly on a four-month contract.

The 29-year-old, who was released from Elland Road over the summer, has been training with the Lions over the past week.

Connolly could make his debut against former club Derby County at The Den on Saturday.

The Liverpool-born right-back spent two years at Pride Park after signing from Plymouth Argyle in 2008.
