Barcelona boss Luis Enrique names a strong starting XI for their pre-season friendly against Sampdoria.

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has named a strong starting XI for tonight's pre-season friendly against Sampdoria at Camp Nou.

The two sides will be playing for the Gamper Trophy while also thinking ahead to the new seasons in Spain and Italy.

Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Arda Turan will provide the attacking threat for Barca, with Ivan Rakitic, Sergio Busquets and Andres Iniesta in midfield.

Claudio Bravo starts in goal, while Sergi Roberto, Jeremy Mathieu, Gerard Pique and Lucas Digne will line the defence for the Catalan giants.

Summer signings Andre Gomes and Samuel Umtiti have been training with the team this week, but neither has been named on the bench.
