Jose Gimenez calls for focus

Atletico Madrid defender Jose Gimenez insists that "nothing is decided" ahead of Thursday's Copa del Rey last-16 second leg against Real Madrid.

Atletico Madrid defender Jose Gimenez has insisted that his side still have a long way to go before their spot in the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey is secure.

The Spanish champions beat Real Madrid 2-0 in the first leg of their last-16 clash last week.

However, Gimenez is expecting a strong response from Los Blancos, who recently lost their 22-match winning run.

"Nothing is decided, it will be a nice game to play. It will be difficult because we are the visitors, they will be strong and the tie is not decided," he told the club's official website.

"We know that we have to go with the mindset of not conceding and taking advantage of opportunities to score. And to defend well."

Gimenez scored his side's second at the Calderon last week.
