BetFred owner Fred Done decides to pay out to punters that have backed Manchester United to win the Premier League title this season.

BefFred owner Fred Done has decided to pay out on Manchester United winning the Premier League title this season.

Yesterday's 2-0 victory over Blackburn Rovers has put the Red Devils five points clear of their rivals Manchester City with seven matches remaining.

Done made a similar decision in 1998, losing around £500,000 by paying out on United when they were 12 points clear of Arsenal. However, Arsene Wenger's side went on a winning streak that saw them lift the trophy.
