Thomas Tuchel "very happy" with victory over Manchester United

Borussia Dortmund manager Thomas Tuchel is "very happy" with his side's 4-1 victory over Manchester United in the International Champions Cup.

Borussia Dortmund manager Thomas Tuchel has declared himself "very happy" with his side's victory over Manchester United in the International Champions Cup this afternoon.

United were handed their first defeat under Jose Mourinho in Shanghai as goals from Gonzalo Castro (2), Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Ousmane Dembele handed the Bundesliga outfit a convincing victory.

Mourinho played down the result after the game, and Tuchel also stressed that there is still plenty of work to be done before the start of the new season.

"I am very happy about the result. It is only pre-season so there's a long way to go and lots to achieve in the future," Tuchel told reporters.

"We only arrived in Shanghai yesterday. Hopefully we will continue to play very well."

Dortmund will continue their tour of China against Manchester City on Thursday.
