It is not yet clear what problem the Manchester United midfielder is suffering with.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Jermain Defoe has also withdrawn due to an ankle injury.

England welcome five-time World Cup winners Brazil to the Wembley Stadium on Wednesday to celebrate the Football Association's 150th anniversary.
