Nico Kranjcar has been linked with a move to Liverpool as Kenny Dalglish looks to add to his side in January.
A striker is the main target for the Merseyside club but Dalglish is considering a cut-price deal for the Croatian too.
After losing Raul Meireles, Joe Cole and Alberto Aquilani in the summer, Kranjcar could provide a creative edge to Liverpool's midfield.
The 27-year-old would welcome a move away from Spurs, having been forced out of the first team by Rafael van der Vaart and Luke Modric.
Other clubs such as PSG and Aston Villa have also been linked with the playmaker, who may feel a move abroad is the key to kick-starting his career.
