Emmanuel Frimpong faces warning

Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong is expected to receive a warning for wearing a T-shirt during the Gunners' Carling Cup defeat to Manchester City, which appeared to advertise his own clothing brand.

The 19-year-old displayed the T-shirt, sporting the word 'DENCH' after the final whistle of Arsenal's 1-0 defeat to City at the Emirates on Tuesday.

Professionals are not permitted to advertise products unauthorised by the Football Association, which has prompted a warning towards the Ghanaian, according to The Mirror.

The teenager is not expected to be hit with official punishment, but will be told to refrain from committing the offence again.
