Arsene Wenger will keep his job as Gunners boss and remains fully backed by the Arsenal board, according to reports.
The Frenchman has come under pressure to resign after Arsenal’s shocking 8-2 defeat to Premier League champions Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Following the departure of the club’s skipper Cesc Fabregas to Barcelona and Samir Nasri’s exit to Manchester City, Wenger has failed to bring in any replacements.
Despite the lack of spending with only two days to go in the transfer window, the Arsenal board remain committed to the 61-year-old.
"The club is very much behind Arsene Wenger from Stan Kroenke to the board, downwards and sideways,” an Arsenal source told The Guardian.
“There is absolutely no suggestion of any conversations about his future. We are right behind the manager who has led us to such great success for 15 years."
The London club resume their Premier League campaign on September 10 against Swansea at the Emirates after the international break.
