Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala has dropped a hint about his future at the club, with contract talks said to be ongoing between the two parties.

According to WhoScored, only Lamine Yamal has a higher average rating in Europe's top-five leagues among players aged 21 and under so far this season.

Musiala has been Bayern's highest rated in four of their last five matches too, and across the entire season, he already has 12 goal involvements in 14 matches.

Reports emerged last month that Bayern had entered talks with the 21-year-old over a new contract, with the German international's deal at the Allianz Arena set to expire in 18 months' time.

Manchester United's new manager Ruben Amorim has reportedly been handed an early transfer blow, with Bayern Munich stating that Leroy Sane is not for sale this January.

The right-hand side of attack is one of Amorim's key conundrums as he takes charge at Old Trafford, with no standout option in that position.

Alejandro Garnacho and Amad Diallo have shared the responsibilities in that position for much of the season so far, but the latter is still young and experienced, while the former's preferred position on the left.

Amorim's preferred system of a 3-4-3 relies heavily on its wide players, and it is likely the Portuguese boss will make some adjustments in that area of the pitch.

Arsenal have reportedly shortlisted West Ham United attacker Mohammed Kudus with the view of signing the player next summer.

Kudus has quickly taken to life in the Premier League after arriving from Ajax for £38m last summer, becoming one of the Hammers' key players.

Signed just after West Ham won the Conference League under David Moyes, the Ghanaian was part of the squad that reached the quarter-finals of the Europa League last season.

In his debut season in East London, Kudus scored 17 goals in all competitions, and his importance to the team has been illustrated by their underwhelming results since he received a five-match ban following his sending off against Tottenham Hotspur.

Manchester City are reportedly interested in signing AC Milan midfielder Tijjani Reijnders, who is also attracting interest from Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.

City are heading into November's international break following a four-game losing run across the Premier League, Champions League and EFL Cup.

The latest of those defeats arrived on the South coast on Saturday afternoon, when Man City were unable to earn anything from their battle with Brighton & Hove Albion.

Towering forward Erling Haaland put the visitors ahead in the first half, however second-period efforts from Joao Pedro and Matt O'Riley secured the points for the Seagulls.

Manchester City are reportedly interested in AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan as a replacement for Ederson.

The 29-year-old is expected to be in action on the international stage on Thursday night, when France host Israel during the fifth round of matches in UEFA Nations League A.

Maignan has established himself as the first-choice stopper for Les Bleus following the end of Hugo Lloris's success-laden spell in net for Didier Deschamps's side.

Focusing on club football, the Frenchman is top of the goalkeeping ranks at AC Milan, where he has played prominently since moving from Ligue 1 outfit Lille during the summer of 2021.

The Yellow Submarine have enjoyed an outstanding start to the new campaign, sitting in fourth position in the La Liga table.

A total of 23 goals and 24 points have been recorded from 12 matches, with Villarreal trailing second-placed Real Madrid by just the three points.

Having missed out on European football for 2024-25, the charge is now on to earn a return for next season, preferably in the Champions League.

"You can point the finger at Arteta" - Will Arsenal live to regret Odegaard decision?

Martin Odegaard will not join up with Norway after making a recent return from injury on November 12, 2024

Arsenal have been punished for failing to adequately replace their most "important player" Martin Odegaard when the Norwegian was out with an ankle injury, according to Gunners expert Charles Watts.

The 25-year-old has been restricted to just five appearances this season due to a serious ankle sprain, and his absence has coincided with Mikel Arteta's side falling a whopping nine points adrift of leaders Liverpool in the Premier League table.

Arsenal allowed two of Odegaard's backup playmakers to leave over the summer, as Emile Smith Rowe joined Fulham permanently while Fabio Vieira returned to Porto on loan, leaving 17-year-old Ethan Nwaneri as the captain's only deputy.

Speaking to Sports Mole, Watts believes that Arteta and Edu can be held accountable for failing to prepare for such a scenario, saying of Odegaard: "He's absolutely Arsenal's most important player.

Chelsea have reportedly identified a Benfica defender as a potential transfer target for 2025.

The Blues can be satisfied with their start to the new Premier League campaign, sitting in third position in the table after 11 matches.

Although Enzo Maresca's side have sometimes come in for criticism regarding their performances at the back, they possess the joint-sixth best defensive record in the division.

Wesley Fofana and Levi Colwill are the preferred pair in the centre with Tosin Adarabioyo, Benoit Badiashile and Axel Disasi all viewed as backup options.

Tottenham Hotspur reportedly decide how they would handle any interest in Cristian Romero from Real Madrid.

Albeit just three points adrift of third place in the Premier League table, Spurs have put together a concerning run of form in the division.

As many as five defeats have been posted in 11 games, with the latest coming at home to Ipswich Town by a 2-1 scoreline on Sunday afternoon.

That result came on the back of Micky van de Ven being unavailable through injury, with replacement Radu Dragusin yet to impress during his time in English football.

Manchester United and Liverpool may reportedly suffer a blow in their efforts to sign Lille forward Jonathan David.

Since moving to the French outfit in 2020, the Canada international has established himself as one of the most consistent attacking players in European football.

A total of 97 goals and 20 assists have been contributed from his 202 appearances in all competitions, an outstanding return for a player who can feature across the attacking line.

However, with less than eight months remaining on his contract, Lille are in a position where they are more likely than not to lose their star man on a free transfer in 2025.
