Wes Brown is looking forward to Sunderland's trip to Arsenal on Sunday.

Sunderland defender Wes Brown has said that he is looking forward to his side's game at the Emirates Stadium this weekend.

The Black Cats travel to the capital on Sunday just a point behind the Gunners having picked up four points from their last four games.

"Like ourselves, Arsenal haven't had too good a start to the season," Brown told the South Shield Gazette. "They probably expected a bit more, just as we did.

"What we need is a win to restore some confidence and lift us back up the table. Arsenal have quality players and it will be a very difficult game for us.

"But I'm really looking forward to it. I've had a couple of weeks without a game now and I'm raring to go."

Brown moved to the Stadium of Light over the summer after 15 years at Manchester United.
