Friday's Championship predictions including Reading vs. Cardiff

Sports Mole provides score predictions for both of Friday's Championship fixtures - Blackburn Rovers vs. Derby County and Reading vs. Cardiff City.

Two sides that remain in Championship relegation danger face off at Ewood Park on Friday evening as Blackburn Rovers host Derby County.

The visitors have lost back-to-back games and enter this contest two places above the dropzone, while Rovers are 17th following a seven-game winless streak.

We say: Blackburn Rovers 0-0 Derby County

Blackburn are winless in seven home games, failing to score in the last three of those, while Derby are without a victory in six away matches, failing to score in four.

This is likely to be a real scrap and, going by that recent form, we are tipping this one to finish as a low-scoring draw.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Reading vs. Cardiff (Friday, 6.00pm)

Reading and Cardiff City will both be looking to return to winning ways in the Championship when they meet at the Madejski Stadium on Friday evening.

The Royals lost 2-0 to Watford last time out and have now dropped out of the playoffs, while Cardiff are seven points worse off after going three games without a win.

We say: Reading 2-1 Cardiff City

Reading have more to play for than Cardiff heading into Friday's match, with their playoff hopes still alive heading into the final straight.

The Royals have a good record at the Madejski Stadium and are without defeat against Cardiff in 10 games, so we are backing the home team to edge this one.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or draw.
