Ole Gunnar Solskjaer still undecided on Amad Diallo squad decision

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will hold off until later in the week before deciding whether to include Amad Diallo in his side's Premier League squad.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will make a late call on whether to include teenage forward Amad Diallo in Manchester United's Premier League squad.

The 18-year-old officially arrived at Old Trafford in January, three months after being signed by United from Atalanta BC in a deal worth up to £37m.

Diallo has made an instant impression at United thanks to a brace on his debut for the Under-23s side against Liverpool on Saturday.

Solskjaer must now decide whether to use Diallo against Everton next Saturday, or instead give the youngster more playing time for the age-grade side against Blackburn Rovers on Friday.

"We will make a decision on Amad in the week on what he does at the weekend - if he's in our squad," Solskjaer said.

"It depends on many factors, if we have injuries or COVID. You never know, but he might be playing on Friday, yeah. I will make a decision on Thursday."

Solskjaer has already confirmed that he will add defender Phil Jones to United's Premier League squad for the remaining three months of the season.
