Marcus Rashford tells Manchester United that he has no desire to seek a move away from the club this summer, according to a report.

Marcus Rashford has reportedly communicated to Manchester United that he has no desire to seek a move away from the club during this summer's transfer window.

The England international's struggles during the 2023-24 campaign have led to suggestions that he could leave Old Trafford in the upcoming market, should a serious offer arrive.

Paris Saint-Germain continue to be linked with the Red Devils academy product, although it is understood that the French champions are not planning to move for him this summer.

According to TBR Football, despite the recent transfer talk, Rashford has informed Man United that he does not want to leave this summer and 'is fully focused' on 'recapturing his form'.

The 26-year-old scored 30 goals and registered 10 assists during an excellent 2022-23 season, which led to him signing a big-money contract at Old Trafford, with his terms running until June 2028.

Marcus Rashford 'is not interested in summer exit'

Rashford has found it difficult to show his best form this season, though, only managing eight goals and five assists in 40 appearances in all competitions.

The Englishman has often cut a frustrated figure on the field, and there have also been off-the-field issues, leading to question marks surrounding his commitment.

Last week, Rashford quote-tweeted a supportive post from a fan account on X, writing: "I appreciate your support! It is abuse and has been for months. Enough is enough."

Man United head coach Erik ten Hag then said during his press conference ahead of the clash with Burnley that the forward needed support amid his struggles.

However, there has since been a host of speculation surrounding a potential exit, with the club believed to be willing to listen to offers for their entire squad aside from Kobbie Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund.

Marcus Rashford 'determined to rediscover best form'

Rashford has only managed seven Premier League goals this season, while he failed to find the back of the net in the team's Champions League group-stage campaign.

The forward is believed to have been fined two weeks' wages earlier this year for visiting a nightclub in Dublin on two separate evenings and then calling in sick for training before his side's FA Cup contest with Newport County.

Rashford has missed Man United's last two Premier League matches, meanwhile, due to an issue which he suffered against Coventry City in the FA Cup on April 21.

The attacker is expected to be back for Monday's clash at Crystal Palace, though, and he will be desperate to end a disappointing season on a positive note ahead of potentially representing England at Euro 2024.

Rashford will then be looking ahead to next season, seemingly determined to rediscover the form that made him one of the best wide players in European football.
