Who is out of contract at Real Madrid on June 30? Which players will leave?

Sports Mole assesses the situations of the four first-team players who will be out of contract at Real Madrid next month.

Real Madrid have four first-team players out of contract at the end of June, while the club also need to make decisions on the futures of two more who are currently on loan.

Goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has dropped to number three at Bernabeu following Thibaut Courtois's return to fitness, and the Chelsea stopper is highly unlikely to join Real Madrid on a permanent basis this summer.

A long-term deal for Joselu is a serious possibility, though, with the forward, who is on loan from Espanyol, scoring 16 times during an impressive season, including a brace in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final with Bayern Munich.

Here, Sports Mole looks at the situations of the four players who only have deals with the La Liga champions until June 30.

Toni Kroos

Kroos has again been a vital player for Los Blancos this season, making 46 appearances in all competitions, scoring once and providing nine assists in the process.

The 34-year-old remains a part of Carlo Ancelotti's first-choice XI at the club, and it would be a surprise to see him leave this summer considering his performances this term.

Another one-year deal seems the most likely outcome for the Germany international, and he could potentially break the 500-appearance mark for Real Madrid next season.

Verdict: New deal

Luka Modric

Modric has lost his starting role at Bernabeu, with Kroos, Aurelien Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga and Federico Valverde ahead of him in the pecking order when it comes to the midfield spots.

However, the Croatia international has still made 43 appearances for Los Blancos this season, scoring twice and registering eight assists, and he remains an important player.

Modric has found it difficult to accept that he is no longer a starter, but due to the volume of matches, he has once again proved to be integral to the team's success.

It did appear that he would be leaving on a free transfer, but the general feeling now is that he could be offered another one-year deal due to his influence both on and off the field.

Verdict: New deal

Nacho

Real Madrid have been without the services of Eder Militao and David Alaba for long stages of this season, which has increased Nacho's importance to Los Blancos.

The 34-year-old has made 42 appearances this season, while he has played 361 times for the club in all competitions since breaking into the first team in 2011.

Another contract would be justified, but the Spaniard is believed to be seeking a new challenge at this stage of his career, with a move to the MLS or Saudi Arabia a strong possibility.

As a result, Nacho could be involved in just three more matches for Real Madrid.

Verdict: Leave

Lucas Vazquez

Vazquez has made 35 appearances for Real Madrid this season, scoring twice and registering six assists in the process.

The 32-year-old has once again proven to be a valuable back-up option at right-back, and he starred during Real Madrid's recent 3-2 win over Barcelona, scoring once and providing two assists.

Vazquez knows the club inside out, featuring for them on 346 occasions in all competitions, and it would be a surprise to see him leave this summer.

A one-year contract is the most likely outcome, with recent reports suggesting that a new deal for the experienced Spaniard is not too far away.

Verdict: New deal
