Liverpool right-back Conor Bradley returns to training following a foot injury ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur.

Liverpool have received a timely injury boost ahead of Sunday's Premier League showdown with Tottenham Hotspur, as one of their injury victims was pictured in full training on Wednesday.

Fledgling right-back Conor Bradley, who made waves in the Reds' XI during Trent Alexander-Arnold's injury absences, has not been seen since hurting his ankle in a 1-0 loss to Crystal Palace last month.

Bradley's problem ruled him out of the second leg of Liverpool's Europa League quarter-final loss to Atalanta BC, as well as a trio of Premier League fixtures with Fulham, Everton and West Ham United.

Alexander-Arnold would have been expected to start each of those games anyway, but Bradley has watched on helplessly as the Reds' title dreams have evaporated in recent weeks.

Now sitting five points behind Arsenal and four below Manchester City - who have a match in hand - with three games left to go, Jurgen Klopp's side will be out of the title reckoning if they lose to Spurs and at least one of their rivals wins this weekend.

Conor Bradley back in Liverpool training

However, Liverpool have received a piece of encouraging news before the clash with Spurs, as Bradley was pictured in good spirits in training on Wednesday following his ankle problem.

The Northern Ireland international was only expected to miss a couple of weeks with the concern, and the Reds' selection of training images also showed him taking part in ball work with his teammates.

As a result, Bradley is expected to be available for the visit of Ange Postecoglou's side this weekend, where he could make his 23rd appearance of an impressive campaign in all competitions.

The 20-year-old has contributed one goal and six assists from 22 outings in the 2023-24 season and has earned 10 Premier League starts under Klopp, who is unlikely to have any more of his injury victims back in time for Sunday.

Liverpool to be without five players against Tottenham

Bradley's anticipated comeback would leave the Reds without five players for the weekend, including Diogo Jota, who sustained a hip injury after scoring in his side's 3-1 win over Fulham on April 21.

The Portuguese's problem is not thought to be serious enough to rule him out for the rest of the season, but he was not seen in training on Wednesday and has no chance of making his comeback against Tottenham.

In addition, Ben Doak and Joel Matip are on the way back from their season-ending knee problems, while Thiago Alcantara may have been seen in a Liverpool kit for the final time due to his muscular issue.

On Wednesday afternoon, 19-year-old midfielder Bobby Clark also announced that his season was over due to an unspecified problem.
