Tottenham Hotspur could be looking to acquire Diego Forlan this summer.
The Uruguayan, who has been made available for £7m by current club Atletico Madrid, is a likely target for admirer Harry Redknapp, according to the Daily Mail.
The 32-year-old had been valued at £20m last year, but the Spanish outfit has lowered the price tag for a quick sale.
“Diego will decide what happens but it looks like his first choice will be England,” president Enrique Cerezo said of the former Manchester United striker.
An approach from Turkish side Galatasaray has already been rejected.
