Half-Time Report: FC Ingolstadt 04 survive first-half Borussia Dortmund onslaught

FC Ingolstadt 04 are holding Borussia Dortmund to a goalless draw in Sunday's Bundesliga clash at the Audi-Sportpark, despite the visitors dominating proceedings.

FC Ingolstadt 04 are holding Borussia Dortmund to a goalless draw in Sunday's Bundesliga clash at the Audi-Sportpark.

The visitors were first to threaten as Marco Reus was played in on the edge of the box six minutes in, but he sliced the ball narrowly wide of the right post.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang then came close after picking up a pass from Reus, but the resulting shot again flew just wide.

The hosts, taking part in their first ever top-flight home game, were under the cosh for the majority of the half as Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Neven Subotic and further efforts from Reus and Aubameyang pummelled Orjan Nyland's area.

Nevertheless, Ingolstadt survived unscathed until the break as their frustrated opponents failed to break the deadlock.
