Richard Gasquet sees off Albert Ramos-Vinolas to clinch Jo-Wilfried Tsonga meeting

Richard Gasquet will meet fellow Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the fourth round of Wimbledon after claiming a 2-6 7-6(5) 6-2 6-3 win over Albert Ramos-Vinolas.

Richard Gasquet has reached the fourth round of Wimbledon for the seventh time in his career after claiming a 2-6 7-6(5) 6-2 6-3 win over Albert Ramos-Vinolas.

The seventh seed took just 31 minutes to seal victory on Court 18, having moved two sets to one ahead the previous evening against the world number 36.

Gasquet, who reached the semi-finals last year as he did in 2007, will now face compatriot Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the last 16 following the latter's epic win over John Isner.

The two Frenchmen have four wins apiece in their eight tour match-ups, but Gasquet had the better of Tsonga in the fourth round of Wimbledon in 2007.
