Kyle Edmund secures place in Binghamton semi-finals

British number four Kyle Edmund is through to the Binghamton Challenger semi-finals with a routine win over Mitchell Krueger.

Kyle Edmund has eased past Mitchell Krueger to earn his place in the semi-finals of the Binghamton Challenger.

Earlier on Friday, Edmund had completed a three-set win over Noah Rubin, and the British number four soon made it an American double with a comfortable triumph over Krueger.

The 20-year-old broke twice in each set to run out a 6-3 6-2 victor and set up a last-four contest with world number 535 Sekou Bangoura.

In the other semi-final, British number six Brydan Klein will play second seed Bjorn Fratangelo after he overturned an early deficit to beat Frederik Nielsen in the last eight.
