Brydan Klein reaches semi-finals in Binghamton

British number six Brydan Klein reaches the semi-finals of the Binghamton Challenger with a three-set win over Frederik Nielsen.

Brydan Klein has fought back from a set deficit to record a three-set win over Frederik Nielsen in the quarter-finals of the Binghamton Challenger.

Klein, who enjoyed a fine month on the grass before Wimbledon, found himself overpowered during a one-sided first set, but two breaks of serve in the second saw him take the contest to a decider.

The 25-year-old broke early in the third to move closer to victory before he eventually served out for a 2-6 6-3 6-4 win.

The success could be enough to earn Klein a place in the world's top 170.
