Manchester United are reportedly still interested in signing Crystal Palace forward Alexander Sorloth this summer.

The 24-year-old is currently on loan at Turkish side Trabzonspor, where he has scored 25 goals and created seven more in 39 appearances across all competitions this season.

Sorloth's form at Trabzonspor is in sharp contrast to his record at parent club Crystal Palace, where he scored just once in 20 outings before being shipped out on loan.

Nonetheless, a number of Europe's biggest clubs have been credited with an interest in the striker, and Turkish outlet Fanatik reports that United are still considering an approach when the transfer window reopens.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is known to be in the market for attacking reinforcements, having been forced to settle for a loan deal for Odion Ighalo during the January window.

However, the Red Devils could face competition for Sorloth's signature, with Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, AC Milan and Napoli also monitoring his progress.

Trabzonspor have the option to make his loan move permanent for just £5.35m at the end of the season and are expected to exercise that clause.

Should they do that then they could sell Sorloth on immediately for a profit if a bidding war emerges.
