Trabzonspor's Alexander Sorloth brushes off Real Madrid, Manchester United links

Trabzonspor forward Alexander Sorloth, on loan from Crystal Palace, plays down suggestions that he could join Real Madrid or Manchester United.

Trabzonspor forward Alexander Sorloth has claimed that it would be "irresponsible" to talk about a transfer to a bigger club.

As a result of netting 19 goals from 23 outings in Turkey's top flight, the Crystal Palace loanee has been linked with a wide range of teams, including Real Madrid and Manchester United.

However, the Norway international has suggested that he has no interest in discussing a potential switch to the Bernabeu or Old Trafford at this stage of the campaign.

The 24-year-old is quoted by Marca as saying: "I have seen the rumours. There are always many. I've read about it and I keep getting told about teams that are interested.

"However, I am focused only on Trabzonspor. There's a great sense of team spirit here and we want to win. It would be irresponsible and inappropriate to talk about a transfer at the moment."

Sheffield United are said to be one of three other Premier League clubs who are monitoring the situation.
