Paris Saint-Germain coach Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly highly thought of at Manchester United as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's future remains up in the air.

Paris Saint-Germain manager Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly still held in high regard by Manchester United amid speculation surrounding Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's future.

Following their recent 5-0 drubbing at the hands of Liverpool, Solskjaer is rumoured to have just three games left to save his job in the Old Trafford dugout.

Antonio Conte, Erik ten Hag and Zinedine Zidane have all been linked with the role, but former Tottenham Hotspur coach Pochettino has also been mentioned, with his job in Paris not thought to be entirely secure.

According to The Mirror, Pochettino is highly thought of by those at Man United, but with his PSG contract running until 2023, it would be difficult to prise him away from the Parc des Princes.

The Argentine was briefly linked with a return to Spurs this summer as Jose Mourinho's successor, while Zidane is thought to be open to replacing Pochettino should PSG opt for a new name in the dugout.

Pochettino has overseen 20 wins from 28 games in charge of PSG, with his side currently seven points clear at the top of the Ligue 1 table.
