Late Dundee United goals seal draw

Dundee United come from two goals down to earn a 2-2 draw with Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership.

Two goals inside the final 10 minutes have earned Dundee United a 2-2 draw with Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership.

James Collins and Michael Nelson both had chances for Hibs in the first half, but Radoslaw Cierzniak made a couple of solid saves to stop the visitors from taking the lead.

However, he was unable to hold onto the clean sheet when Paul Heffernan played in Liam Craig shortly before half time, leaving the winger with an easy tap-in.

The home side tried to find their way back into the match after the break, but it was Hibernian who were handed the chance to double their advantage when Collins was brought down in the box by Jon Soutattar.

Craig stepped up to take the penalty, keeping his strike low to add his second goal of the match and double the away side's lead.

Soutattar tried to make amends for giving away the spot kick shortly after with an attempt on goal, but his strike was high of the crossbar, while a Brian Graham effort also missed the target.

It was David Goodwillie who managed to get the hosts back into the match when he fired in from close range with seven minutes left to play.

United continued to press as they finished the match strongly and managed to force an equaliser in the final minute before stoppage time, with Stuart Armstrong crossing in for Graham.
