Half-Time Report: Liam Craig gives Hibernian lead

A late goal from Liam Craig gives Hibernian a half-time lead over Dundee United.

Liam Craig scored late in the first half to give Hibernian a 1-0 lead over Dundee United in the Scottish Premiership this afternoon.

There were few chances for either side early on, but James Collins managed to test Radoslaw Cierzniak 18 minutes in, forcing a good save from the home side's keeper.

Nadir Ciftci began to find his way into the match and started to cause problems for the Hibs defence, but he could not find the target.

Cierzniak managed to parry away a Michael Nelson header as the visitors started to dominate as the half progressed.

Their possession paid off shortly before the break when Craig picked up a through-ball from Paul Heffernan and slotted it into the back of the net.
