Manchester City have sealed third place in the end-of-season Premiership table after a 2-0 victory against Bolton.
Roberto Mancini’s team trail champions Manchester United and Chelsea at the top of the table. The Red Devils were responsible for Blackpool’s relegation after a 4-2 victory, while Chelsea fell to Everton in a 1-0 defeat.
The Blues’ standing leaves Arsenal in fourth place, putting them in a qualifying position for the Champions League.
Meanwhile, Spurs finish in fifth place due to a 2-1 victory over Birmingham City, who fall to the Championship as a result. They are now through to next year’s Europa League alongside the St Andrew’s side and Stoke.
